Southwest Ohio Region Workforce Investment Board

The Southwest Ohio Region Workforce Investment Board serves the employers, jobseekers, employees, and youth of the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. We operate the SuperJobs Center One Stop Employment Center, and several satellite locations throughout the city and county. We partner with public and private organizations to serve our customers. Our Board of Directors is business-led and includes representatives of various educational institutions. These include Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Cincinnati Public Schools and the Great Oaks Joint Vocational School System.

We also partner with the Ohio Skills Bank, Region 5 Workforce Coalition and the Greater Cincinnati Workforce Network to build stronger regional workforce education and development system linkages that serve our community and help our labor force to meet the needs of the 21st century workplace

Workforce One Investment Board of Southwest Ohio

The Workforce One Investment Board of Southwest Ohio is a three-county regional organization (Butler, Clermont and Warren Counties) made up of leaders from business, education, labor and government, with the majority of its board members representing the private business sector.

The mission of the Workforce One Investment Board is to set the vision, policy direction and performance expectations for the regional workforce development system. The mission of the Workforce One Investment Area workforce system is to provide an educated and qualified workforce that meets the current and future needs of employers.

Workforce One is an affiliated partner of the OhioMeansJobs workforce development network.
